Turning tango into blues, bolero into electronic music and ranchera into folk, such is the magic of the singer Sol Escobar, Colombian artist recently settled in Spain with an important career in television, film, music and theatre in Latin America. The fact that Escobar has composed the music, written the lyrics and produced herself La dama oscura, her latest album, made it a very special and personal work. In this concert, especially conceived for Hiroshima, a new electronic form will be launched alongside Sylvain Couesmes, producer of the project SoFree, who will make a counterpoint with 2 disimilar electric guitars and an electric bass guitar. The landscapes that each of the songs evoke, prompts us to celebrate life, love (in spite of the lack of love) and our commitment to ourselves. Accompanied by guitar, drums, and bass, Escobar invites us to raise our glasses and toast the lyrics of love lost and found that sound a constant note in the musical poetry of Latin America.
